Buying and delivery
Immediately. Checkout is handled by Whop and access is granted the moment payment clears, so you can load Splash 2K27 onto your Zen before NBA 2K27 even finishes downloading. If you buy before launch you also get the day-one tuning update the moment early access opens on August 28, 2026 — 9:00 AM PT.
Straight answer: a Cronus Zen works at the controller-input layer. Your console sees a standard licensed controller, and nothing is installed on the console or inside the game. No 2K ban wave has specifically targeted Zen input devices in recent titles. That said, using a script is against the game's terms of service, so nobody honest can promise you zero risk. We build for risk-managed play — sensible defaults, no absurd inhuman behavior — and we tell you to play smart.
Once. Loading a script onto a Cronus Zen is done through Zen Studio on a Windows or macOS machine, which takes about five minutes. After that the Zen is programmed and runs entirely off your console — you never need the PC again unless you want an update.
We re-tune and reship. Shooting patches move release windows, and a script that is not maintained goes from money to unplayable overnight. Every re-tune for the entire NBA 2K27 cycle is included in the one-time price, and each one is announced in Discord alongside the patch it responds to — you are not paying twice to keep a script you already bought working.
No. $49.99 once. There is no monthly fee, no "pro tier", and no charge for the re-tunes we ship during the NBA 2K27 cycle. When the next game comes out that will be a separate product, and we will say so plainly rather than quietly rolling your subscription over.
Come to Discord first. Nearly every "it does not work" turns out to be outdated Zen firmware, a charge-only USB cable, or a TV that is not in Game Mode — all fixable in minutes. If you are on a supported platform and we genuinely cannot get you running, we would rather refund you than argue. What we will not do is refund a working script because you changed your mind about scripting.
Yes. The Zen is hardware made by Cronus and we have nothing to do with selling it. We sell the script that runs on it. If you do not already own a Zen, buy the hardware first — the script is useless without it.
How it works technically
It is a program that sits between your controller and your console and shapes the inputs passing through. It cannot see the game, read memory, or modify anything on the console — it only decides when and how your button presses and stick movements are delivered. That is why release timing is the thing scripts are genuinely good at: timing is an input problem.
More than almost anything else. A release window is a handful of frames wide, and a television doing motion smoothing can add 60–100ms of delay on its own. Put the display in Game Mode before you calibrate, and recalibrate if you change TVs, change monitors, or change your frame cap on PC.
Wired, every time. Wireless adds a pairing layer and variable latency, and variance is the enemy of a timing script. Plug the controller into the Zen with a data cable and the Zen into the console.
Partly. The script controls when your inputs leave the controller, which it does reliably regardless of your ping. What it cannot do is fix a server that receives your input late. Expect it to help a lot in MyCareer and offline modes, and to help but not fully compensate in a laggy Park game — anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something.
Yes, they are all in one file and they are tuned as a set. There is an in-game mod menu if you want to turn something off, but the defaults are what we actually recommend and most people never open it.
NBA 2K27 ships on Switch 2, and we do not claim support for it. Two things need validating — Zen hardware behavior on current Switch 2 firmware, and script timing against the Switch 2 build of the game specifically, since it runs on different hardware than the PS5 and Xbox versions. Until we have tested both, we will not sell it as supported.

Because of what we do not do. There are no invented player counts on this site, no fabricated reviews under a product nobody has bought yet, and no promise that scripts are undetectable. We have shipped and maintained Cronus Zen scripts since 2021, every re-tune goes out to everyone who bought at no extra cost, and the honest caveats are printed on the product page instead of buried at the bottom of a terms page.
Not yet, and we are not going to pretend we have. NBA 2K27 does not release until September 4, 2026. What exists today is our shipping 2K26 timing engine ported forward and ready for a tuning pass. The first pass against real retail code happens at early access on August 28, 2026 — 9:00 AM PT, and it lands automatically for anyone who already bought.
We keep re-tuning until the game stops getting meaningful shooting patches, then we say so plainly rather than going quiet. You keep the script either way — nothing gets remotely disabled.
